Stepnophobia

I am going to talk to you about another fear I have. I feel that the more I think about it and the more I become aware of it, I have a huge list of fears. Not saying I am becoming a nutcase or unstable with a case of panophobia, which is the fear of everything. I will never get there. I like too much but here and there, I discover another common and quirky thing I fear. Today’s post is about my curse of stepnophobia, or in laymen’s term, the fear of ladders. You read that right. I am scared of ladders.

Happy Cinco De Mayo

May5thI hope everyone had a fulfilling day. I hope you drank enough Corona that you forgot where you parked. Be sure to eat up those tacos and all the other authentic Mexican meals cause tomorrow is just another day in May. Not to be confused with Mexico’s Independence Day, Cinco De Mayo is the day Mexican forces defeated the french in 1862 in the battle of  Puebla. The French were defeated and after we said, ‘au revoir” to them, we quickly destroyed the meaning of Cinco De Mayo and turned it into another reason to get sloshed, like Saint Patty’s Day – which I really don’t know the origins behind why we celebrate it. Thank you, Mexico. America tips its Canadian hat to you.

An Open Letter To The People Who Drive On 152 Highway

I feel I need to address an issue that needs to come to light. I feel that what I will discuss may upset some people but I am okay with that. Words hurt. Sometimes it’s important to lash out and finally express yourself about what is eating you up inside. So, if you are a driver on 152 highway or if you have ever driven on said highway, this letter is to you. I should note something. While I too am a driver on this stretch of highway in the state of Misery, I am not included in anything I mention below. Thank you.
