February Stats – Part II: Food

I have been tied up with some personal business but finally now have the time to post the stats for the food I ate last month.

It has occurred to me that I am not very adventurous when it comes to food and dining out. Just by writing out the places and things I ate last month, I have noticed I eat just about the same thing over and over again.  Shall I begin?

BREAKFAST:

  • 2 Farmer’s Choice Breakfasts
    • 2 eggs over easy, (4 total)
    • 2 pancakes, (4 total)
    • 3 pieces of bacon, ( 6 total)
    • 1 order of white toast, (2 total)
  • 4 Sausage link and biscuit sandwiches
  • 2 French Toast Sticks (1 w/o syrup)
  • 1 double egg and sausage muffin
  • 2 cinnamon rolls (1 w/o icing)
  • 9 mini muffins
    • 4 apple cinnamon
    • 5 orange
  • 2 jumbo cherry muffins
  • 7donuts
    • 2 maple cinnamon rolls
    • 2 chocolate long johns (from Quicktrip)
    • 2 maple long johns (from Quicktrip)
    • 1 chocolate ring donut

LUNCH: (work meals)

  • 3 1/3lb. bacon cheeseburgers (lettuce, tomato)
  • 1 chicken strip wrap (lettuce, tomato, cheese, mayo)
    • 1 side tator tots
  • 1 grilled ham & cheese sandwich
    • 1 side of onion rings

 

  • BBQ Pork Sandwiches
    • 2 orders of mac and cheese
    • 1 order mashed potatoes w/beef gravy
    • 1 new york style cheesecake
    • 1 piece of Trident Peppermint gum
  • 1 Roasted Porkloin (4 slices)
    • 1 order of mac and cheese
    • 1 order of mashed potatoes w/beef gravy
    • 1 order of cherry crisp
  • 1 BBQ Brisket Sandwich
    • 1 order of baked beans
    • 1 order of mac and cheese
    • 3 pieces of Take 5 “flare” gum
  • 1General/Orange Chicken
    • 1 side of steamed rice (2 sugars)
  • 5 Medium Spicy Beef Lo Mein (no oyster sauce)

LUNCH:

  • 2 Chic-Fil-A Deluxe Chicken Sandwiches (lettuce, tomato, mayo)
  • 5 Slices of Pizza Street Pizza
    • 1 slice of pepperoni/hamburger
    • 3 slices of alredo
    • 1 slice of pepperoni
  • 1 Philly Time Double Cheeseburger (lettuce, tomato)
    • 1 order of onion rings
  • 1 Philly Time Creamy Deluxe (onions, green peppers, cheese)
    • 1 order of onion rings
    • 1 chocolate chip cookie
  • 1 Homemade Egg roll (pork, cabbage, onion, carrot, soy sauce, salt/pepper)
  • 1 double whopper with cheese (no onions, no pickles)
  • 1 Chili Southwest Egg roll
  • 2 subway cold cut combos (lettuce, tomato, salt/pepper, vinegar/oil)

DINNER:

  • 2 McDonald’s 20 piece chicken nuggets
    • 4 bbq sauces
    • 4 sweet and sour sauces
  • 2Ming Garden’s General Chicken
    • 2 orders of steamed rice
  • 1 plate of homemade Goulash*
  • 7 beef hot dogs (with ketchup only)
  • 11 slices of Papa John’s Pizza
    • 2 slices of pineapple, pepperoni, mushroom (picked off mushrooms)
    • 9 slices of cheese pizza (1 slice was cold)
    • 3 pieces of Papa John’s cinnamon sticks
  • 1 3 piece Popeye’s Chicken (2 thighs, 1 leg)
    • 1 side of mashed potatoes w/gravy
    • 1 biscuit
  • 1 2 piece Popeye’s Chicken (1 leg, 1 thigh)
    • 1 side of mashed potatoes w/gravy
    • 1 side of cole slaw
    • 1 biscuit
  • 1 Plate of Venetian Pasta (broccoli, chicken)

DESSERTS:

  • 14cookies
    • 2 Oreo Cookies
    • 1 Sugar Cookie
    • 6 Chocolate Chip Cookies
    • 5 Girl Scout Cookies (peanut butter patties)
  • 7 Wonka Brand Candies
    • 2 packages of bottle caps (12 total caps)

DRINKING SNACKS:

  • 1 Tostino’s Pizza (cheese)
  • 10 Girl Scout Cookies (peanut butter patties)
  • 3/4 bag of Tostito’s Hint Of Lime Chips

BAR MEALS:

  • 1 Beef Taquito

MISC. TEST TASTING AT WORK:

  • 1 single grain of white rice
  • 1/2 size of beef/bean burrito
  • 1 Turkey Roll-up

There you have it, folks! Month two of what I have ate this year. Oh, the asterisk by “Goulash” is there for a reason. My mother likes to call it, Hamburger Italianio. We’ll call it goulash and she gets upset. It’s the same thing! I am hoping to post another ‘chef john’ video soon. I was quite surprised to see so many videos of people making beef lo mein. Some questions for you,

  2. What other places do you recommend?
  3. Should I watch what I eat?
  4. Should I watch what I drink?
  5. Cut back on coffee?
